Message from the Host

It is my great honor to welcome you to Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam, for the 16th ASEAN Medical Deans' Summit (AMDS) 2026, proudly hosted by the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City.

Since its establishment in 2012, the ASEAN Medical Schools Network (AMSN) has grown into a vital platform for academic leadership and collaboration among medical schools across our region. Through this network, we share a collective commitment to advancing excellence in medical education, strengthening research partnerships, supporting the personal and professional development of our students, and improving the health of our communities.

This year’s summit is held under the theme “Innovating Together: Driving Transformation in Medical Education and Health Care.”
